Hi there! So sorry for the very long delay, but I’ve had my little girl! I had her via c-section, which means for a slow-recovery. Having a toddler who needs attention and attempting to breast-feed while moving in slow-mo have really left me no time at all!
I’m beginning to get better and will hopefully find some time to cook and post! See, when you’re not a milk maid but attempting to breastfeed, your baby is eating constantly without much of a break AT ALL! I’m talking the only break I usually get is when she falls asleep when I’m burping her and when I try to lay her down she’s hungry again for the other side. I am supplementing a couple of bottles of formula a day (LOVE Earth’s Best…used it with my son and I can’t say enough about it), and after that I get an hour or so – lovely! So, since the oatmeal, malt and fenugreek aren’t making me make much more milk, I’ll eventually supplement more since I cannot literally sit all day long and switch her from side to side! I’d love to naturally produce more milk, but my body isn’t listening. Oh well, I went through all the emotional trauma the last time with it and this time I’m just happy to have somewhat lasted this long!
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know we’re here and doing well and I have soo many wonderful reviews to share with you and since it’s getting cooler and I’m not pregnant anymore my brain is starting to work over-time ready to start baking again. That is…once I start supplementing I guess:) In the meantime, I’m going to start getting those reviews out. Thanks for being so patient with me:)
