Unless you're carrying around the changing pad that possibly comes with it:) And I've been using the re-useable shopping bags too sometimes but mine are all ugly, I need to invest in a cute one but keep getting free ones so I use those! Yes! With my first - it was all about cute functionality but then I realized that I didn't know what functionality really was yet and so they were just cute and terrible at the same time! I'm always jealous of the moms with backpacks so I figured it's about time I join the smart ones but still use my one leftover cute diaper bag for short trips out! Jenn,

Cool! I know, this is weird, I'm not a mom (yet?!), but I've carried diaper bags as purses for a long time now...I know, weird. But, they make some super cute ones, so why not? Plus, I always have a bunch of junk and water bottle, and hey, I happen to think it's a little more posh than a rolling suitcase or something. Lately, I've been classing it up with a reusable shopping bag (with cute print) but when I am going on a road trip (or going to be gone all day, lol, def understand the bringing snacks issue) I turn to a diaper bag. Haha. But, I love your choice! I think a backpack would be pretty nice, especially now that you'll have two kids...you'll obviously need both arms. I hadn't been too keen on the backpack idea until I considered this. Wow, for not being a mom I sure wrote a ton about diaper bags. :) Congrats on your third trimester!
